Horsen Table - General Maintenance

STEP 1: Sand the table lightly with sandpaper.

Use 120 grit sandpaper.
IMPORTANT- Always sand in the direction of the wood grain, not against it.
Remove the build-up on the sandpaper regularly.
Don’t use too much pressure.

You just want to revive the wood and take about 1mm of the topcoat.

You don’t want to sand the whole table to its original wood colour.

Your table wills till have your chose
stain.

STEP 2: Clean away the dust with your dry cloth.

STEP 3: Oil the table

Pour a little bit of your oil onto the table, or on the cloth and get as much coverage as you can.
Repeat until you will cover the whole table with oil.
You do not need to go with the grain on this step.
Do not worry about streaks or lines forming as
you will be lathering oil into the wood.

STEP 4: Use a clean dry cloth to take off the excess oil.
